SOXO Radio | Xella Red | Musical Artist

Xella Red

Kamyah Williams (known professionally as Xella Red) born June 29, 2006, is an American recording artist and producer born in Chicago, Illinois. At 12, she began releasing music after recording with her family members (who were also prominent artists). While growing up surrounded by musicians, personally music became her only outlet. Her experiences help flesh out her identity and uniqueness as a solo act. In 2021, she made her appearance in the trap metal/experimental trap scene. During her career, she came in contact with talent manager athiiko, and under her management rolled out several high-production projects. Her videos on Instagram garnered thousands of views. Her online presence sky-rocketed in three years of being a studied artist.

The earliest music she has published was released in 2020. Her debut single on Spotify “BXLLY”, was released on June 16, 2020. Since then, she has released a total of one hundred forty-seven projects on SoundCloud. When asked about her discography in an interview with SOXO Radio, she stated “Yeah a lot of my songs are based off of real people and the way they make me feel. Most of my songs are either about my exes, myself, or my goals But songs like 'Miss Me', 'Vanish', and other love songs are usually about failed relationships and I’m dropping The Baptism for Our Sins on Halloween." One of her best-performing singles is "school bitches (prod.wixxo)" on SoundCloud. "Sloppy Toppy" was released on September 6th, 2021, and received hundreds of streams from supporters.
