Talk In Code
Talk in Code is an indie rock band from Wiltshire, England based in Swindon. As well as reaching 300,000 Spotify streams and being added to more than 700 Spotify playlists, Talk In Code has also received support from national and international radio, including colleges and independent stations in the United States, SOXO Radio, Amazing Radio, BBC Introducing, BBC Radio Wiltshire and Swindon 105.5. The album has also been featured in Q Music, CLOUT, Indie Is Not A Genre, Indie Buddie, The Ocelot, Swindon Link, and Devizine. The band’s debut single “Make it Happen” was released on February 6th, 2014. The band released seven singles and two multi-track projects prior to signing to London's Regent Street Records, in 2022. Virgin Music UK's current president - Vanessa Bosaen - founded the label. Three singles have been released under its banner, accumulating over 300k streams. Songs have been added to over 500 playlists, including Apple Music and Soundcloud editorials.
Talk In Code has also made festival appearances at Victorious, Wychwood, Lechlade, and Jurassic Fields. They were also active at the United Kingdom’s biggest touring celebrity food and musical festival, Foodies Festivals twice. They’ve been able to perform at venues with the talents of Scouting For Girls, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Craig David, SAS Band, 10cc and, Lindisfarne. The 80s-inspired band’s sound has been described as “Pet Shop Boys meets The 1975” and “The Killers meets The 1975 with a splash of Duran Duran” by several publications and fans. Their music focuses on strong story-telling, with an emotionally-driven atmosphere.
