Born With the Hustle

BiGMoley, born Jeremy Marro, has become a rather notable artist in the underground scene. Moley’s style is far more nuanced, blending experimental sounds that have defined the last two generations of hip-hop. He’s arguably a melodic trap rapper, which can be backed by his intuitive musicality. He possesses an illimitable range, effortlessly switching between deep baritones and falsetto highs mid-verse, which allows him to convey emotions like vulnerability and bravado. This boundary-pushing has succeeded due to hip-hop's expressive palette. Someone can listen to a track like “Born With The Hustle” and hear the hybridization. Moreover, his genre-bending saves rap from monotony, infusing it with hype and virality that resonate locally and on social media. Strengths like these have earned him respect from influential names in the business. Despite his talents, BiGMoley had a noticeable hiatus, which could’ve stunted his momentum pre-2025. In response, we received a far more aggressive, active, and adept artist since his return to prominence. BiGMoley's story is one of persistence, proving that in hip-hop, the hustle truly pays off. Very few artists have committed, let alone could “master this,” in the words of BiGMoley on ‘Master P.’

The Comeback Season

His album Courage featured tracks such as “Master P,” "Dat Way," and a bonus track "Shikamaru,” each showcasing his versatility in switching between smooth flows and experimental elements. These outputs build on earlier works like the 2023 EP This Thing Of Ours. As seen in playlist placements on Spotify such as "UG: THE TAKEOVER," "RAGE RAP," and "HARDEST UNDERGROUND RAP [2026]." He was also discovered on playlists like "The Greatest Summer Playlist" and "PLAYBOI CARTI HYPED.” The centerpiece of his momentum was the release of his 16-track album Courage on July 30, 2025. This album featured a notable collaboration with fellow artist okaywell on the track "Boston," an homage to his hometown. Friend of the station, was a guest on the podcast Smoking With 2Tall (hosted by musical artist 2tall the Prodigee), where he discussed his evolution from writing rhymes at age 12 to elevating the Central Mass underground scene. As the year wound down, BiGMoley reflected on Instagram about building "real collaborations" and shooting his first music video—described as one of his most collaborative projects yet. It’s only right to highlight one of the few artists who analyzed their own flaws early and successfully reinvented their career.
