JusHarry's 'Losing Focus' is a Work of Art by Lexi Saldana

Glasgow-based rapper-songwriter JusHarry dropped the album Losing Focus’ in October of 2024, which to this day remains a work of art. Widely known for his unique style of hip-hop that blends remnants of R&B, the album stays authentic to his sound—driven by drums, piano instrumentals, and bass. What makes this album much more than a piece of work can be found within his lyricism. Track by track, it is clear that each song is drawn from an experience, allowing listeners to unfold parts of what makes JusHarry the person he is today.

The title track, Let Go,’ produced by Dok Beats, introduces a moody synth, then fading under the sound of an alarm clock—an effect that transports listeners into the world the song creates which further pushes the storytelling. JusHarry’s artistry is heard in every line he writes throughout the album. The uniqueness of each song shows his versatility as an artist, yet it preserves the distinctness of his flow and wit; an attribute that has attracted many fans.
