Greco
Born on June 12, 2003, Joseph Francis Greco, professionally known as "Greco," is an American musical artist. He was raised by his parents, John and Jennifer Greco. Greco’s educational path began with a distinctive blend of homeschooling and formal education. Initially homeschooled for much of his childhood, Joseph's parents took a proactive role in his early education. His homeschooling journey was complemented by his formal education at Turtle River Montessori, where he attended from the 2nd grade through his middle school years. Greco’s introduction to music began at age six. At this formative stage, he shadowed his older brother, Marc Grimpe—known by his stage name, “Greezy Don Vega”—practicing tracks by Lil Wayne and Kanye West. Under his brother’s guidance, Greco honed his skills in writing and recording vocals. Years later, he has harnessed the knowledge imparted by his brother to cultivate a distinct sound of his own. Greco credits his acquired skills to his teachings and lessons from his mentor. A significant turning point in Greco's development came when his family decided to travel around the United States. For about five years, this immersive experience exposed Greco to diverse cultures and environments. By embracing education in diverse settings, he cultivated a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise that set the stage for his future endeavors.
He has unreleased several titles, yet in 2019 he achieved a milestone with 100,000 streams on a single titled "Aced." The following year, Greco had made notable strides in music, particularly with his song "Fargo Fargo," which found its place on Spotify's "Viral on Internet" playlist. By August 2021, “Thrills in the Casino” had garnered 7,000 views on streaming services. On December 25, 2022, Greco released a song titled "YELLOWSTONE" under his Greco Collective™ imprint. Greco Collective™ is more than a label; it is a diverse brand venturing into fashion and entertainment. The eccentric artist has also hosted fashion shows in Milan, Italy, as well as releasing their own clothing line, with hundreds of units sold upon its grand opening. One year later he released his follow-up single, “NUMBA 2.” On June 29, 2017, Greco released the song "Sunflower Dreams (Greco’s Version)" featuring Southernmost Gravy following a significant uptick in mainstream attention. In June of 2024, Greco also performed alongside Southernmost Gravy and Berry on the “Better Life Tour '24.”
